It is with considerable sadness that I announce my retirement from being a GP at Falkland Surgery from the end of April 2021. I have worked in the NHS for 36 years and having trained as both a GP and Anaesthetist, joined St Johns Road Surgery in 1991. I have worked there and at Falkland Surgery continuously since we moved.
I have always found inspiration from both my colleagues and patients alike and will miss them. However I will continue to provide support for patients both at the Covid-19 Vaccination Hub, and also continue my work with the Connected Care project across the Thames Valley.
My patients will be automatically transferred to the remaining team at Falkland Surgery, who I am sure with continue to look after you well.
